Wintop switches are highly compatible with switches from other brands. However, regarding the compatibility of SFP modules, we recommend that users use our optical modules whenever possible to avoid potential issues.

9What is the sequence for detecting the port auto-negotiation status?

The port detects status in the following order: 100Mbps full duplex, 100Mbps half duplex, 10Mbps full duplex, and 10Mbps half duplex. Detection is performed in descending order, and the connection is automatically established at the highest possible speed.

Check whether the properties of the aggregated ports are consistent, including speed, duplex mode, VLAN, etc.

11How to deal with the issue of some ports being inaccessible?

When some ports are inaccessible, it may be due to cable failure, network card failure, or switch port failure. You can identify the issue by performing the following tests:

a. Replace the Ethernet cable with a new one.

b. Use the same Ethernet cable and switch port to connect to another computer.

c. Use the same Ethernet cable and computer to access other ports on the switch.

If it is confirmed to be a switch failure, please contact the manufacturer for repair.
