The Liyuan Intelligent Substation Project is yet another successful typical case of Wintop power communication products being deployed nationwide. The moment I stepped into the "secondary equipment" room of the substation, I instinctively held my breath. Cabinets stood like walls, the sound of equipment operation mingled with fan noise creating a tense, oppressive atmosphere. The room was almost airtight, filled with heat waves and faint electromagnetic surges. Hundreds or even thousands of devices were deployed here, covering protection devices, control systems, automation equipment, communication management units, metering modules, and various auxiliary facilities—all running in high-density parallel, intricately intertwined yet without interference.

The site is quiet, and the technicians are highly focused

The equipment room is quiet, yet exceptionally busy.


Technicians from various equipment manufacturers are intensely working around their own devices. There is no small talk, no unnecessary conversation—the entire space operates like a high-speed precision machine. Every person and every action is preparing for the final system integration and commissioning.

Some are cross-checking every link against a full-wall topology diagram; some sit cross-legged in front of equipment, alternating between modifying configurations on the computer and standing up to check interface statuses; some squat for hours, sweat streaming down their faces, yet their eyes never waver. There are no desks or chairs—everyone sits on the floor. When tired, they simply pad with a piece of cardboard, rest briefly in a corner for a few minutes, then immediately get back up and continue debugging. Amid the high temperature, stuffiness, and continuous work, no one shows the slightest impatience. Every action here conveys the same attitude: serious, focused, and zero tolerance for errors.

This is not an ordinary project—it is part of national power engineering. Every debugging task connects to millions of households' lights; every verification concerns the safe operation of kilovolt-level power systems. What they shoulder is the mission of building a solid communication foundation for the national energy system. Here, "communication reliability" is not just a slogan—it is the fulfillment of responsibility.

Just before commissioning was complete, I took a photo—

The entire row of equipment with constantly lit ports in operation—at that instant, I suddenly understood: every device is "shining brightly."

They emit the light of performance, guard the stability of the system, and bear the responsibility of the mission. They are not just products off the production line—they are Wintop's solemn commitment delivered to the national energy system.


As a manufacturer focused on industrial network communications for 21 years, we deeply understand: delivering equipment is not the end. On the way back, I briefly chatted with two technical engineers.


Engineer Wen said that before joining Wintop, he used to take his family to the park every weekend. Now, most weekends he stays home because he's afraid of missing a customer call—"I don't dare put my phone on silent; I'm always ready to handle issues."


Engineer Ban said that on weekdays he can sleep in, but on weekends he is often woken up by customer calls—"because customer issues cannot wait."
